Stephen Clare

Stephen Clare is a Studio Y Fellow. He is a chronic vagabond fuelled by passion, curiosity, and an insatiable desire to understand whatever problem he has recently stumbled across. That means you might find him tinkering, pondering, writing, or chatting, depending on the time of day. He spent the past four years avoiding specialization in McMaster’s interdisciplinary Arts & Science program, where designing equitable, efficient, and democratic paths to sustainability emerged as a denominator common to his projects. Stephen has worked towards this goal in the arts, as the co- Editor-in-Chief of Incite, McMaster’s magazine; in the sciences, as an undergraduate researcher and teacher; and in his own head, as a traveller, writer, learner and conference-er. Stephen also really likes the Wu-Tang Clan.
