Paul Campbell

As the Executive Lead, MaRS Real Estate, Paul Campbell oversees all aspects of MaRS real estate operations (Phase I & 2). He brings considerable expertise and experience to MaRS, having spent 45 years working in progressively senior real estate roles both in Canada and abroad.
He spent the first half of his career in the retail shopping centre business, working in a range of roles with Maron Properties, Campeau Corporation and Trilea Centres. Throughout the past 25 years, he has held senior leadership positions with several large real estate organizations, including Oxford, Nexacor and Revenue Properties, culminating in his most recent role as President and CEO of one of the world’s largest office owners, SITQ (the Caisse de Depot).
While he has spent most of his career in Canada, Paul has also worked in Europe and the United States, and has had additional exposure to Russia, India and China. Paul continues to work as a Director of both private and public companies. In 2012, he was awarded the NAIOP (Commercial Real Estate Development Association) Lifetime Achievement Award for his extraordinary contributions to the industry.
