Dr. Adam Jacobs
Adam is an analyst for the Data Catalyst Innovation Economy program. He specializes in research methodology, data visualization and statistical analysis. His work focuses on visualizing the money and talent flows within Ontario’s innovation economy, and expanding the global thought leadership activities of MaRS Data Catalyst.
Adam previously worked at MapInfo, a commercial GIS software firm. He developed estimates of population growth and income trends across several countries for the data development team in Toronto.
Adam has an MS and PhD in sociology from the University of Wisconsin. His master’s thesis won the Society for the Study of Social Problems award for best student paper in the area of law and society.
